“Happy Halloween”

Happy Belated Halloween! Honestly this year has passed by so fast, I cannot even believe Christmas is just around the corner. (Approx 7 weeks to go!) I had only one group of trick or treaters last year, I think it’s because I forget to buy candy every year! This year, when we had a knock on the door the dog barked like crazy and I had to do a crazy dig in my pantry for something, anything to give to the awaiting princesses, superman, witches, ghosts at my doorstep. Since I haven’t dared go out in a costume for so many years, Halloween is the last thing on my mind on October 31st. So I grabbed a few snack pack of crisps and yanked open the door. Standing there in the rain, was just my flatmate. To make him feel better, I did offer him a bag of crisps. Needless to say, this year, we did not get any trick or treaters, and here I was semi prepared.

Next year it is.

The Boatshed Wedding – Craig & Karen

September 1st 2013,

If you asked us to describe Craig and Karen’s wedding, I would actually be speechless. I loved everything about this more-than-perfect wedding at The Boatshed. The sun shone through brightly through the glass frame during the ceremony. The fairy lights sparkled into the evening through dinner and everyone danced along to the band into the night.

It all happened on the first day of Spring, or to Craig and Karen, the first day of married life together.

I don’t think a smile left my face all day. In fact, going through the photos, I still have a smile plastered on my face as I think about such a magical wedding. Craig and Karen, you are both wonderful people and I wish you both all the happiness and laughter for your future together.

Wellington Life City Church Wedding – Teagan & Latisha

August 3rd 2013,

A double rainbow means good luck and this double rainbow that peeked out from behind the clouds on this mid winter wedding beautified the day that much more.
A day to celebrate their love, Teagan and Latisha had incorporated their faith and culture into this memorable day and married at the Life City Church in Wainuiomata. It was filled with laughter, happiness and of course, food.
Below is an excerpt of what Teagan & Latisha wanted to share about their love:

Two lives united in friendship

Two friends united in love

One love united in Christ.

Let us show you what this means in pictures.

to be continued…stay tuned for more photos!!

Monique McDonald - Your $899 wedding package Advertised on Trademe looks fantastic. The photographs on your website are beautiful. Unfortunately, we are getting married in Auckland. I wonder if you would be so kind as to let me know whether there is a photographer you could recommend in Auckland? We have a very modest budget.

Christchurch Hagley Park Engagment – Ben & Samantha

When Sam’s brother got engaged, friends would hassle Ben and ask when it was their turn, Ben would just reply with a sneaky “I have a plan”. And oh boy, did he have a plan.

Ben proposed to Sam on New Years Day 2013 in the vibrant city of Singapore underneath the fireworks (how romantic!). Sam could not wait to share the news with her family, friends and of course, her baby Ash (their doggy).

We were so lucky to be in the garden city, Christchurch, on a sunny morning to witness their love. Little Ash also came along and patiently waited for his turn.

Their wedding will be at the end of Spring and I am counting down the days. But for now, let us create their love story.

And finally, here is Ash, as cute as ever. He was so happy to be finally reunited with his “Daddy and Mummy”.

They have shared 4 beautiful years together, they know each other inside out. They are just perfect. And that’s an understatement.

We are raising a glass to you both, Congratulations! As of today, 96 more days till the big day!

Much Love,

Alex & Lisa
